For over two decades, Thy Catafalque has been masterfully pioneering left-field extreme metal music. But what started in 1998 as a black metal project kept evolving and reached a turning point on opus #3: while the guitars are just as brutal as on the first two albums, 2004’s ‘Tuno Ido Tárlat’ (which translates to “An exhibition of vanishing time”) twists and turns into everything from neo-classical folk to industrializes electronica.
